Stop And Share Your Thanks This Week!
The State of Wisconsin has declared that this is Adult School Crossing Guard Recognition Week. During the week of Monday, January 12th through the 16th, 2015, the public is encouraged to show appreciation to the volunteers who help our children cross busy intersections on a daily basis (by the way, it’s been COLD out there this week!)
At this week’s School Board meeting, Administrator Janna Stevens recognized the following adult crossing guards for their service. If you know any of these fine people, please share this post on your Facebook page and give them a friendly “tag.”
Christine Kalinoski | Barbara Fairbanks | Frances Johnson |
Carole Tierney | Mark Tierney | Richard Cowan |
John Davey | Elizabeth Davidson | Cynthia Root |
Eli Keene | Alicia Hailey |
Adult crossing guards are appointed by Sgt. John Kiel of the Superior Police Department. If you are interested in volunteering to assist in this important duty for our children, you can reach Sgt. Kiel at (715) 395-7435.
