Odanah, WI (NNCNOW.com) — The Bad River Band is receiving $15,000 from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) and the National Park Service for a collaborative art project.

The funding for the Superior Watershed and Apostle Islands National Lakeshore Collaborative Art is a portion of a gift totaling $1 million, spread over 27 states.

This year marks the NEA program’s 50th anniversary. The NEA Chairwoman says this is a way for them to celebrate America’s national cultural treasures through art.
