First Graders Attend “Click, Clack, Moo”

Bryant Elementary Students Attend & Review CSS Play

On Thursday, February 26th, the 50 First grade students at Bryant Elementary School were able to attend the play, “Click, Clack Moo” at the College of St. Scholastica.  This play was adapted from the book with the same title written by Doreen Cronin.

On Thursday, February 26th, the 50 First grade students at Bryant Elementary School were able to attend the play, “Click, Clack Moo” at the College of St. Scholastica.  This play was adapted from the book with the same title written by Doreen Cronin.  Each month, first grade features an Author of the Month; during the month of February, Cronin was the featured author.  Click, Clack, Moo is a story about Farmer Brown’s cows, who find an old typewriter in the barn and proceed to write letters to Farmer Brown, listing various demands.

The Bryant PTO sponsored the bus for the students to make the trip to St. Scholastica.  Upon returning to school, students worked hard to write reviews of the play.  Students in first grade are busy learning about how to write opinion pieces and reviewing a play was a natural tie in to both the work from their writing class and the opportunity of experiencing the fine arts in our community.
