Things Are Happening On Campus This Weekend!

Thursday, Feb. 12

UW-Superior faculty and student artwork will be on display at Red Mug in Superior.   The Superior Council for the Arts presents Artists & Their Art opening reception from 5-7 p.m. Red Mug in Superior, WI. 1323 Broadway Ave.  The art work will be on display from Feb. 12 until April 3.

Friday, Feb. 13

Love is in The Air (Valentines Dance)

7:30 pm to 10:30 pm

Location: Multicultural Center 2nd floor Old Main.

Love is in the Air is a Dance event for everyone who wants to make new friends and have fun. This is the World Student Association’s second annual Valentines dance. This is a free event and we wanted to give a feel of American culture to international students. And also this is a good opportunity to bridge the gap between American students and international students. Games, DJ and other fun activities, decorated room with full of candies. Saturday, Feb. 14

Valentine’s Day Swing Dance – UW-Superior Jazz Ensemble

7:30 pm Yellowjacket Union, Great Room.  The UW-Superior Jazz Ensemble presents a swing dance at 7:30 p.m.  Dancing lessons will be offered as part of the program.

  • And SAVE the DATE from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Monday, February 16 as UW-Superior Chancellor Renee Wachter, Wisconsin State Senator Janet Bewley, State Representative Nick Milroy and Superior Mayor Bruce Hagen will meet in a public forum with campus and community members to discuss the proposed UW System biennial budget.  That event will be at the Yellowjacket Union Great Room and is free and open to the public.
