South Range: Parkland Community Group Women’s Expo, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Parkland Town Hall, Highway K. Features over 30 vendors selling home and yard decor, health and beauty products, jewelry, homemade food, pet supplies and more. Free admission. There will also be a Chinese auction and sloppy Joes, beverages and sweets available for purchase. Proceeds benefit Parkland Community Group.

Superior: Free demonstrations and art show, Shannon’s Stained Glassery, 5904 Tower Ave. “Creating a Necklace,” 11 a.m.; art show talk, noon; “Soldering Stained Glass,” 12:30 p.m.; “Colors for Earth Enamel Painting,” 1:30 p.m.; “Making the Cut, Taurus 3-Ring Saw,” 2:30 p.m.

Superior: “Let’s Talk Black Mental Health: Culturally Informed Healing,” presented by Stacy Jackson of UW-Eau Claire, 1-2 p.m., Yellowjacket Union, UW-Superior, 1605 Catlin Ave. This is the keynote address for the Twin Ports Undergraduate Psychology Conference. Racial discrimination and oppression are experiences African-Americans face. Research supports the claim that racial oppression negatively impacts African-American mental health outcomes.
