Brule: Waino Ever-rest Cemetery Association annual meeting, 6 p.m., Brule Town Hall. Officers will be elected and other business conducted. Those with family buried at cemetery encouraged to attend. Refreshments served. Waino Pioneer Chapter annual meeting to follow; officers will be elected and fundraising for historical chapel discussed. Both meetings open to public.

Superior: Author of “By His Own Hand” and veteran Neal Griffin event, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Pope Student Center, Old Main 232, UW-Superior, Belknap Street and Catlin Avenue.

Superior: UW-Superior hosts free public forum on “Lifelong Learning in Northern Wisconsin, 6 p.m., Erlenbach Lecture Hall. The UWS alumni panel includes Crystal Hintzman, ’98, director of curriculum and instruction, School District of Superior; Christina Kline, ’11, interim director, online learning, UW-Superior; Andrea Schullo, ’87, associate dean, Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College; and Marlene Wisuri, ’76, self-employed artist and publisher at Dovetailed Press.

Superior: Thaddeus Kosciuszko Fraternal Aid Society (Polish Club) meets, 6:30 p.m., Fraternal Order of the Eagles, 1710 N. 12th St.

Superior: Fourth annual “Foolin’ Around with Your Family Tree,” 5-9 p.m., Superior Public Library. Presentations from genealogy experts, chance to network with other genealogists and access to library’s genealogy resources. Free; space limited.
