Voters across Wisconsin head to the polls Tuesday to decide the outcome of nonpartisan races.

Voters statewide decide whether Lisa Neubauer, chief judge of the Wisconsin Court of Appeals, or Brian Hagedorn, an appellate judge with the Wisconsin court, will serve a 10-year term on the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

In local races, voters select their representation on town and village boards, the Superior City Council, and decide a referendum in the town of Solon Springs.

Superior has three contested City Council seats in the 2nd, 4th and 8th District. Incumbent Jenny Van Sickle is facing a challenge from Parks Commission Tom Wondolkowski for the 2nd; incumbent Jack Sweeney faces Superior School Board member Laura Gapske in the 4th; and incumbent Craig Sutherland faces newcomer Matt Osterlund in the 8th.
