Four Corners Earns Highest Rating With State

For the 2015-2016 school year Four Corners’ School Accountability Report Card acknowledged our school as Significantly Exceeding Expectations, earning an Overall Score of 88.7 points on a 100 point scale. Only 15% of schools in Wisconsin earned this 5-star rating.
The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction creates a School Report Card and District Report Card for every publicly funded school and district in the state. The main data source for this report are the student scores from annual state testing.
The Report Cards are intended to help schools utilize data to improvement efforts to ensure students are ready for the next educational step – including the next grade level, graduation, college, and careers.
Each school receives a score in four priority areas.
This year Four Corners exceeded the state average scores in each of these four priority areas.

Every year since the 2011-2012 school year,* Four Corners has increased its overall score, moving from Meets Expectations, through Exceeds Expectations to Significantly Exceeds Expectations.
It is encouraging to see this progress. Many factors contribute to this steady improvement.
Among them we can count:

- Students eager to learn and high attendance rates,
- Committed and passionate staff who believe that all students can succeed at high levels, and
- A school willing to take chances and find new ways to support all our students.
