Making a Simple Post

So you’re thinking, what do I know about blogging and posting and commenting? For starters, if you’ve ever posted something on Facebook, or made a “Tweet”, you can blog. Think of it as just another way of talking to your friends and acquaintances, only on ESB you’ll have a broader audience to communicate with. We only ask that you play nice. We will moderate comments, and if need be delete, edit, or even ban participants who become nasty. If you see a comment that you feel is in appropriate, please contact us at ExploreSuperior@gmail.com with your input. This isn’t a full-time job for us, but we’ll try to get back to you within 24 hours. Nonetheless, we thank you for your feedback.

Now for the technical stuff. If you can follow these directions, you can become a first class ESBS’er:

1. Click “LOGIN & POST” on the top menu bar.
   1. If you’re already registered with ESB, enter your user name and password. If you’re not registered, then click on the “REGISTERING TO BLOG ON EXPLORE SUPERIOR” on the top menu bar and follow the directions to register.
   2. Once you’ve logged in, a black bar will appear at the top of the ESB webpage that will look something like this:
   3. Hover over “+ New”.
   4. Now click on “Post”.
   5. Under “Add New Post” is the box in which you type the title of your post.
   6. The larger box below the title is where you will enter your words of wisdom.
   7. Once you’ve composed your post, click on the blue “Publish” box on the right.
   8. At that point, the phrase “Add New Post” at the top of the page should change to “Edit Post,” with a note below it indicating “Post Published.”
   9. Finally, click on “view post” to see what you’ve contributed to the ESB conversation.
