2015 DECA District 1 Marketing Contest Results

Our community should be very proud of the achievement of our Superior students at the recent District 1 Marketing Contest held at UW-Stout.

The group was led by faculty advisors, Heidi Wolbert and Paul Zollver. According to them, Freshmen were included for the very first time in school history, and proved to a welcome addition to the team. Each student could earn recognition in any of the 3 contests in which they were entered in addition to trophies for the highest cumulative scores in a category.

DECA - An Association of Marketing StudentsThe team’s advisors went on record about the team’s efforts by saying, “We share the pride and satisfaction of these student achievements with every teacher/adult who has interacted and subsequently influenced these students in a positive manner. We also appreciate the efforts of the students that took the time to explore this opportunity.” This experience certainly taught the lesson that “It Takes a Team” to succeed.
