Monthly Douglas County Board Meeting held on Thursday, November 20, 2014. Includes presentation by Sue DeNio, county coordinator of Family & Community Support, and Superior Days, numerous zoning amendments made, youth representatives sworn in and added to the board, and announcement of the City/County Christmas Party to be held at the Belgian Club on December 5th.
County Administrator Lisak’s report touched on concerns over snow removal challenges, kudos from the Governor’s office for the County Veteran Affairs office headed up by Trevor Welsch, and a shout-out to County Supervisor Jim Paine who will be in the cast of the Douglas County USO Show to be stage this coming weekend at the Douglas County Historical Society.
