My Grandma Kay McClelland owned Kay's Place on HWY 35 for years, and I'm sure many of you remember her. My Grandma is an amazing woman who has helped many peoole throughout her life. My Grandma is having open heart surgery on March 6th to replace the aorta in her heart at the Mayo Clinic. This surgery is not an easy surgery and is dangerous. My mom, Jamie East made the choice to do whatever she can to make this as easy for Grandma as possible. My mom has missed a lot of work, and financially is struggling. Next week my mom will be staying in a hotel until my Grandma can come home. My mom has been my Grandma's strength through this and I just want to help. My mom will be out of work for over a month and I want to do what I can to make this a little easier on her. I don't like asking for help, but I live 1800 miles away from my family and I know the struggle and fear they are feeling. Thank you and please keep my family in your prayers.
