In celebration of the greatest of the Great Lakes, the annual Lake Superior Day has expanded to a four day event. Lake Superior Day began in the 1990’s in Thunder Bay and is held on the 3rd Sunday of July. It has since spread to other communities around the lake. Events will also be held at the Maritime Visitors Center in Canal Park and at the Great Lakes Aquarium. Superior will celebrate Lake Superior on Barkers Island this Sunday.
