By Bill Punkyo

On Wednesday, March 30 2016, Superior High School science department hosted the 8th annual science fair.  Over 600 students participated in presenting their project to Junior and Senior science students in the high school gymnasium.

These presentations were the culmination of a month long activity where students demonstrated their use of how real science works.  Student were graded on their research, display and presentation of their experiments ranging from the best golf balls, soil erosion, the effect of noise on behavior, growth rates of plants, and the quality of different snow tires.

Mr. Bill Reynolds has been the lead teacher of the science fair program at SHS and was again instrumental making this a great event.  The kids were excited to be dressed for success, performed well and had fun.
