Now that the advisory referendum for Better City Superior has come back with a 75%+ vote of approval, the people behind this plan will turn their attention towards Madison in order to achieve their objectives. They need to convince the Governor and legislative leaders to place this plan into the state budget next July.
Once they’ve secured support at the state level, Better City Superior boosters will ask voters to again vote “Yes” on April 4th in a binding referendum that will authorize the City Council to form the Superior Exposition District.
