EIGHTH GRADERS GAIN EXPERIENCE - Eighth grader Gabriel Sexton (left) plays the snare drum during an intermission of the boys’ hockey game on Feb. 5. After getting pizza, the eighth graders met the high school students and played with the band. Then they walked with the band to Wessman Arena gaining the experience of playing at a real game with the Pep Band. The band uses this as an opportunity to inspire the eighth graders to continue with music. Photo by Creede McClellan
