In conjunction with the University of Wisconsin-Superior’s Jazz Department, DCHS will present an evening of classic Holiday classics that will bring you back to an earlier, less hectic, time of our lives.

Christmas cards featuring images from the great Norman Rockwell gave us all a warm and fuzzy feeling. We may have had differences with other, but we all seemed to pull together when it was needed…especially during the Holidays.

This year’s show features the UWS Jazz Combo Directed by Greg Moore and the vocal styling’s of Tanya Moore, Beth Hazelton, Gracie Gustafson, Amie Miller and Ricky Christensen.

Personally, I recall my childhood in a small town, snow falling through the street lights, and our town’s Christmas decorations. I looked forward to our annual visits to “Toyland” in the basement of the local Cooperative Mercantile store.

As you passed people on the street everyone had a smile with rosy cheeks and children playing in the snow with no fear of a strangers glance.

Tickets for this show are just $10 for general admission, $7 for Members and seniors, $5 for students and children accompanied by an adult under 10 years of age are free.
