Thanks to Kalee Hermanson, we are happy to share with you today some basketball action that will be taking place today in Superior!
The Elks Hoop Shoot will take place this morning at the Superior Middle School between 10 a.m. and noon. This event is for boys and girls ages 8 to 13 (based on the contestants’ ages on April 1, 2015). There are two divisions, boys and girls, and three age categories in each division as follows:
Boys Division
Ages 8-9
Ages 10-11
Ages 12-13
Girls Division
Ages 8-9
Ages 10-11
Ages 12-13
There will be a game following the contest beginning at 12:20 p.m. For more information about the contest and the league in general, contact Andy Sislo at (218) 310-6755.
If the contestant will be age 7 on April 1, 2015, he or she is too young to participate. Additionally, if they will be age 14 on that date, they are too old to compete in the contest. Winners who do not compete in their correct age-group will be disqualified from competition, so please insure that your child is entered into the appropriate category and division.
