Holiday Decorating & Lighting Contest Announced

LIghting contest WinnerThe Superior-Douglas County Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors are excited to announce that there will be a new business category to their annual Holiday Decorating and Lighting Contest.

The annual contest is free to enter and is open to residences and businesses in Superior and Douglas County. The Chamber Ambassadors will donate $5 to the Boys & Girls Club for each entry. Prizes will be awarded for five categories:

  • Ambassadors’ Choice
  • Best Use of Lights
  • Spirit Award
  • Master’s Division
  • Country Choice
  • Business Category

Holiday Contest QR CodeThe deadline to enter the contest is Monday, Dec. 1. Judging will take place Dec. 14-16 from 6-10 p.m., and awards are given Dec. 18. The 2014 Holiday Decorating and Lighting Contest is sponsored by the Superior-Douglas County Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors along with Hammond Steakhouse, Barkers Island Inn, Eddie’s World Famous Ribs, Graph Mark, Inc., Grizzly’s, Dreamland Supper Club, Black Tie Affair Limousine Services, and Vintage Italian Pizza.

About the Ambassadors
The Chamber Ambassadors are a team of community-spirited individuals who are outgoing, dedicated Superior-Douglas County Chamber of Commerce members or member employees. This “goodwill arm” of the Chamber welcomes new businesses to the community and celebrates business milestones with ribbon cutting ceremonies.
