Yes, bees

Are you in the market for a birdhouse? Are you in the market for bees? You are in luck! On August 2, a craigslist user named Meghan posted the ad “Free Birdhouse Full of Bees. Bees? Yes, Bees. (Duluth)” as well as a following description of all its potential uses. She wrote:
Possible uses:
– Start a new bee community
– Set the bees free (in some place that is not my yard)
– Own a birdhouse that is more hazardous than a typical birdhouse
– Gain a two-for-one They Might be Giants reference (“Birdhouse in your Soul”)
– Use it as a prop when you want to give your kids a most unusual “the birds and the bees” talk”
The owner of the birdhouse does not want to kill the bees living inside, which is a pretty good decision. Honeybee populations have been declining for many years due in large part of Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD). Scientists are still trying to figure out what causes CCD, as no cause has been proven.
The advertisement says “I don’t want to kill the bees, but I have no idea what to do with them. Maybe you do?”
