National Bank of Commerce Grows Future in Superior

NBC Operations Center located near Wal-Mart and Applebees in Superior
National Bank of Commerce (NBC), the area’s largest, locally-owned community bank, announced that is has finalized the purchase of 3631 Tower Avenue in Superior.
The site, which previously housed Northern Bridges Family Care, and before that a book store, will be the new home of NBC’s Deposit Operations and IT groups, ensuring current and future jobs in these departments are to be kept local.
“This is just an example of what really differentiates us from the ‘big banks’”, said NBC CEO Steve Burgess. “For over 80 years we’ve been investing in this community and the surrounding region. With the purchase of 3631, we’re choosing to grow here; to keep our jobs here; to make more possible here.”
Although NBC has wasted no time to get the building up and operational for their needs, a ribbon cutting ceremony is planned for this morning (August 4) at 11:30 am.
“We can’t wait to celebrate this with the community,” continued Burgess. “By banking locally, our customers have made NBC what it is today and there is no better way for us to reaffirm our commitment to this region than keeping jobs local.”
With assets of $545 million, NBC employs 120 locals full time, 16 of which will work out of the new Operations Center.
