Explore the North Country National Scenic Trail in a series of hikes in the Solon Springs, Brule, Iron River, and Superior areas. The hikes are led by members of the North Country Trail Association’s Brule-St. Croix Chapter. Hikes depart Saturdays at 9 AM from K D’s Restaurant in Solon Springs unless otherwise noted.
May 14th – St. Croix National Scenic Riverway, West Mail Rd. to Prairie Lane
May 28th – Douglas County Wildlife Area, Prairie Lane to US 53
June 4th – National Trails Day Hikes – Brule Bog Boardwalk and Brule-St. Croix Portage
June 18th – Brule Valley, Highland Town Hall to Jersett Creek
July 2nd – Brule-St. Croix Portage
August 20th – Lucius Woods County Park
September 3rd – Brule Bog Boardwalk
September 17th – Brule Valley, Samples Rd. to Rush Lake Rd. Meet at Twin Gables Restaurant in Brule
October 1st – St. Croix National Scenic Riverway
October 8th – Morris Pond, Bayfield County Forest – meet at Twin Gables Restaurant in Brule
October 15th – MacQuarrie Wetlands
