This fall I took over for Tom the Crossing Guard out in South Superior. Tom worked the 60th & Tower post for 15 years protecting our kids in all kinds of weather! This week, as you all know, the snow started coming, and I got a taste of the real crossing guard life. It was still enjoyable, but COLD!

I started a gofundme page earlier this week to get warm reflective bibs because it’s starting to get colder and darker every day, and I want to be as visible as possible. Within an hour I reached my goal and was able to purchase my bibs… then something cool happened!  A business donated another $100! That’s another pair of bibs for another Crossing Guard! So why stop there?!

I would like to be able to get bibs for all 11 of our Crossing Guards, but I need your help! If you’re able to help and can donate, please check out the fundraising page! If just 179 more people donate $5, I’ll have enough to purchase all of the bibs! Any extra money left over will be donated to Bryant School out here in South Superior!
